The Soviet school of boxing is the engine behind the world's most dominant amateur nation: Uzbekistan.
Since 1996, Uzbekistan has won 20 Olympic boxing medals—10 gold, 2 silver, 8 bronze—including a historic sweep of 5 gold medals at Paris 2024.
No other country has turned that Soviet system into a modern medal machine quite like Uzbekistan.
The method is precise: footwork, layered defense, timing, and conditioning developed through a national program that treats every fighter like a technician. Today, Uzbek coaches export this system worldwide.
Urban Boxer is the only gym in Dubai that applies it directly to everyday athletes.
